These energetic nutters were a hoot to shoot. Full of expression and giggling like crazy, just what we needed for the cover of 5th issue of Taitoluistelu 2009.
It was a fairly busy two day call, we shot Kiira Korpi in Tampere, Laura Lepistö in Espoo and also these lovely ladies at the Hartwall practice arena.
A simple three speedlight set up got all the light we needed.
The blue gradated back light provided by an SB-800 gelled with a double cut CTB, diffusion dome attached and dialed to 1/8th power.
The key light was over on camera right, an SB-28 at 1/4 power diffused with the Lastolite Ezybox 60cm. On camera left we had another SB-800 also dialed at 1/4 power fired into a silver reflector umbrella.
