Here we are shooting some promo’s in some very fine weather.
This is Finnish DJ Olli Riiho aka JNKS. A thoroughly fabulous gent who knocks out a pretty decent mix too.

Various lighting plans were used through out the day, we had an Profoto AcuteB 600R, D4 head and Ringlight, an Elinchrom Quadra and two FX400 styles.
The Quadra served as the main light with a 70cm beauty dish, it was a fairly sunny day so we lit very close to compensate for the lower power output of 400ws.

The first location of the day was the car park at Jumbo shopping mall, a huge thanks goes to the security staff for being such kind sports and granting us permission to shoot.

We also stumbled upon a very interesting wasteland area that fortunately catered very adequately in the set and props department.

I’m still a little perplexed as to how we managed to blow one of the Quadra A heads. During our third session at Jumbo, a loud crack reverberated off the concrete walls and a small plume of black smoke drifted from the back of the beauty dish. Now, Eero is quite the meticulous chap when it comes to checking the cables for foreign objects prior to connection and it certainly wasn’t moisture at 27°C.
