EPISODE II: A STUDIO WORKSHOP
This studio based workshop prepares, introduces and familiarises the photographer with the environment, the equipment and several core lighting plans that will offer a strong knowledge base to shoot professional portraits.
All experience levels from beginner, novice, student through to amateur or professional are all welcome. (Prior knowledge with basic camera functions or how exposure is effected by shutter speeds, apertures and ISO/ASA sensitivities are going to be very beneficial to you so if you happen to be very new to the mechanics of a camera then I’d recommend brushing up on these areas before enrolling.)
This is a ‘hands dirty’ workshop so all who attend will have the opportunity to shoot their own pictures during the evening.
There will be an professional model and stylist on the crew for this workshop, the example images will be shot tethered to a 17″ laptop running dual displays, 24″ screen plus iPad via Lightroom 3 and Air Display.
