TOMAS WHITEHOUSE

Thanks to my folks, technology and creative arts have captivated me from a very early age. Combine the two elements and I am right at home.

Throughout my teens my background was dominantly based around Performance Art, Theatre and Lighting & Sound. I also have strong roots in the music industry being a guitarist in a touring ska punk band – Farse.

I then went on to work in a local theatre as a technician before working as a senior salesman selling guitars, amplification and hi tech audio recording equipment in a large independent musical instrument retailer in Birmingham City, UK.

I’ve been living in Helsinki city since late 2006 and this is where I began my career in photography.

I cover portraiture primarily, this includes many categories, music/bands, commercial, advertising, corporate, journalism and wedding portraits.
